George Voinovich and the Work of Government, an exhibition opening and panel discussion that celebrates the life, leadership, and legacy of George Voinovich (1936–2016), a proud Clevelander whose heritage shaped his strong commitment to public service and global cooperation.

In his talk, Miha Špiček, the Head of the Documentation Department at the Slovene Ethnographic Museum and an expert dealing with Slovenian Carnival (Shrovetide) customs, will explore how carnival customs evolved from ancient ritual practices into the lively celebrations in Slovenia.
