Event Description: 

Join us for an elegant and festive evening at the Slovenian National Home, celebrating the rich tradition of Slovenia’s craft winemaking. Guided by Khole Zolgharnain from Voyager Beverage and Floyd Adams from Laureate Imports, guests will enjoy a curated tasting of five exceptional Slovenian craft wines, accompanied by a generous selection of vegetarian-friendly charcuterie and appetizers.

These wines are crafted with minimal intervention, no chemicals or shortcuts, and many that are hand-harvested, resulting in bottles that are alive, expressive, and deeply tied to their vintage and winemaker. Each pour tells its own story of nature, time, and tradition.

The evening will also include:

• A keepsake souvenir wine glass for each guest

• Live accordion music to set a lively and cultural atmosphere

• Post-tasting opportunity to purchase additional glasses of wine (cash or card)

Seating is assigned, so make sure your friends know which table you bought your ticket for — that way you’ll all be seated together.

Please note: When purchasing your tickets, exact table location may vary slightly. By purchasing a ticket, you are guaranteed a seat at your selected table number, but exact seat numbers will not be assigned.

Proceeds from this celebration will benefit Cleveland Kurentovanje, supporting the volunteer-run arts and culture festival and will help offset the costs of our largely free or very low-cost programming throughout the festival week.
