Royal Court Nominations

Nominate a Member of the Cleveland Kurentovanje Royal Court

The Cleveland Kurentovanje Festival is accepting nominations for our 2027 ROYAL COURT. Do you know someone with a passion for Slovenian culture and Cleveland? Someone with a bubbly, outgoing, FUN personality? Someone who embodies the spirit of the Kurentovanje Festival and would love to be an ambassador for it? If so, nominate them for the Royal Court!

We are looking for a PRINCE, PRINCESS, QUEEN and KING to serve as our Royal Court at this year’s Kurentovanje Festival, which will be held on Saturday, February 6th, 2026.

The deadline for the Royal Court nominations is 11:59 PM on Sunday, December 20, 2026. When making your nominations, please note that your thoughtful and impassioned comments about your nominee will play a significant role in the selection process.

Requirements:

• The Prince and Princess should be at least 16 years of age by the date of the festival (this rule will be strictly enforced).

• The King and Queen nominees are ideally 50+ year of age by the date of the festival (more flexibility here).

• The Royal Court member must be available all day on Saturday, February 6th, as well as willing to take photos with attendees of the festival.

Please keep in mind as you fill out the nomination form below that the Royal Court will be selected by the quality of the submission, not merely the number of nominations received.
